It was one of the greatest insults I've ever had to suffer.

It may as well have been a cosmic jo--

[ CRASHED INTO. he shoves him, but between the crash and the force of shoving him back, dante ends up falling over ] I thought you knew how to skate!!

[ Stumbles but manages to stay standing. ]

I only asked if you knew how!

[ But... Holds out hand... To help him up. ]

[ DOES NOT TAKE IT, instead he stubbornly gets up on his own, looking like an unsteady baby deer on the ice as he does it ]

Why would you go skating if you didn't know how?!

It seemed fun.

It seemed like fun to do something you suck at?

You never heard of doing something new?

...not willingly.

Why? Worried someone will make fun of you?

[ he doesn't elaborate, but the weekly tattoo effect sure will! because there's a very prominent LACK OF CONTROL on his arm glowing through his shirt now ]

It's not like I want to do something completely unheard of. But ice skating is pretty harmless.

And the payoff's that we get to hang out.

You've got your wires crossed. Hanging out with me isn't supposed to be a positive.

You try pretty hard to make sure that's the case, don't you?

But we're teammates.

And that's supposed to mean something?

Teammates are supposed to stick together. Plus we're living together, so might as well get along.
