[ well, rin is a fellow starfarer, which means he gets to see dante going absolutely ape on this new punching bag!!

by which i mean he's trying to go ape but uhhhh he's kind of bad at it? he hasn't used punching bags much. so his rhythm is off and his punches range wildly from good enough to send the thing swinging, to weak and misaimed so his hand slides right off it ]

[ DANTE... Waits until a poor punch to chime. ]

[ the sudden comment throws him off and makes him throw a punch in rin's direction

he only manages to pivot and make sure he punches the air next to him instead at the last second ]

[ rin can find dante(?) in...homos, actually! Japanifornia, to be specific. he's just looking up at the skyscrapers in awe, drinking everything in.

also, he looks different? his hair is shorter, his fashion less edgy, and he has no piercings. in fact, he actually looks like his icons! ]

Whoa...this place is huge!

Axe-throwing? That can't be a real thing!

[ where is rin? it doesn't really matter because wherever he is, dante will darken the doorway and stare at him. ]

[ immediately turns around and starts leading rin to their destination. he will not elaborate on where that is, even if asked.

until eventually...they come to the screaming room. Dante holds the door open for Rin and then gestures to the room as a whole like "go on." ]

[ if rin wanders by the screaming room he will hear dante roaring in anger. and also lots of thuds, and some cracks. it's his turn now!! ]
