[ we're at the hiking trail!

kate's already partway down the trail but she's not very fast, rin will probably catch up with her without even trying. she stops to admire the butterflies...

until one suddenly lands on her nose and she jumps back with a muted yelp, flailing her arms in a panic. ]

[ i'll be honest i'm still not prepared please have mercy and give me a memory... unless you don't want to go first and then i will pull one together :pleading: ]

Looks like we lucked out.

[ kate's been in her room for much of the day since seeing the announcements. but eventually she does come out into the common area of the lounge, bringing a wispy trail of smoke with her as she does.

she pauses when she sees rin is out here too. she stands still, like a little smouldering statue. ]

[ other than briefly leaving to go change out of her blood-stained clothes from the ice rink slip 'n' slide, kate's been hovering around the first aid station. hopefully that is where rin is also!!!

[ kate can be found... at the observation deck on the eudora! she's gazing out the enormous window, and while there's no expression on her face, her thoughts come through loud and clear.

[ after trial, kate can be found sitting in a chair in one of the terminal hallways, taking slow, shaky breaths to steady herself. ]

[ just outside the main terminal, looking out at the meadow... ]
