anyway, his thoughts are like, why not?, but he just stays leaning leisurely against him. ]

[ anyway, rin flickers a little, just briefly, and when he settles again... he can see the hallucination too! the little fishies around them, and his... tail.

[ he just thought it was kind of funny. but he's enjoying the occasional fish that flutters by them, even if it makes him hungry. ]

[ it's really stupid and they'd look completely nuts to anyone who happened to pass by, because he only cursed the two of them.

he actually is getting kind of tired though. like after a long race, when the adrenaline wears off, and you're just left with sore muscles and sleepiness. so he droops enough to rest his head on rin's shoulder and continue recalling his fishman lore. ]

Only until I'm splashed with water. Right?

anyway, haru's exhaustion doesn't escape his notice, and rin puts a hand on his back as if to steady him as he gets ready to stand. ]

C'mon. You should go to the warehouse and get some sleep.

[squirt]

[ he may have memshared it recently enough to recall the details.

he is really tired but he doesn't move. stubborn. ]

...It won't last that long. I don't want to go back yet. [ partly because he's putting off inevitably goodbyes, partly because he's fine staying here. ]

[ i can't relate to haru because i always want to be cozy in bed.

rin just fiddles with his hair a little, shifting so that he can look at him. ]

[ he's cozy. also he thinks if he makes any sudden moves then rin will startle and splash away like a duck.

he starts messing with a few scales again to keep himself awake, pressing them with his fingers to see the light reflect off of them differently. their hallucinations are really so convincing, he's never had a chance to appreciate them in an innocent context like this. ]

Yeah. This is fine. ...Do you want to go back? [ to the party. ]

[damp]

[ he keeps touching me.

he's not that easy to startle? hello? in fact, he tries not to fidget at the way haru keeps grabbing his leg, steadily growing embarrassed. ]

Nah, I'm fine out here. [ he sighs. ] Those party games just lead to embarrassment.

[ yeah actually it's haru who disengages a bit, suddenly aware of himself when rin's thought wakes him up; he draws his hand back abruptly, crossing his arms so he isn't tempted to poke rin's tail (leg) anymore. usually he's so reserved with his touch, it's odd how much this place affects him. ]

...Sorry. [ rin probably thought that was weird. haru's weird. ] The games aren't bad. But you guys must've played a lot of them. [ Why did Shenhe say that. ]
