No? No we didn't have our powers at all. Not until the very end.
There was a, um, "simulation" room where it could mimic your powers, or manifest places you've been, but no. We just had to get in there and do the hard work ourselves.

Well, we didn't have powers either. At least, not the ones from home, but we got some as part of the game.
