Mm. Well, the nature of a country often at war meant I was frequently on the move because of battle, or to do patrols. It wasn't until recently that I could call myself well-traveled, truthfully... but one could say that yes, it was because of a mission.

it's a fine day for a reunion, or so it would be had rai mei's retainers not blocked your way to clan mei's castle. you best them in battle and demand passage, but it swiftly becomes unneeded when rai mei herself enters the scene (5:28 - 6:49).

and so he releases you, with a simple request: to free her from the shackles of fear that bind her, knowing that killing you would only trap her further. you don't need any convincing to agree.
